Nick Lorenzen joined the Nellie Mae Education Foundation in April, 2004. He had previously been employed as a Writer and Media Consultant, working primarily with non-profits to develop and execute targeted communications strategies. Prior to that, he was employed at CBS News in New York City, where he helped develop editorial content for 48 Hours Investigates as well as the CBS Evening News and the CBS Early Show. He has also worked as an audience and guest liaison at The Late Show with David Letterman. His written work has appeared in many publications including the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Worcester Telegram, Boston Metro, Lowell Sun, and the New Bedford Standard Times. A son and brother of long-time educators, Lorenzen received a B.S. with honors in Communications/Media from Fitchburg State College.
